AmazeLaw Law Scholarship

Some people have a knack for the law and have always been interested in pursuing legal studies. Becoming a lawyer requires four years of undergraduate study (with a variety of concentrations including business, biology, political science, history and communications classes), three years of law school and countless hours studying in the library, participating in moot court and cramming for the bar exam in between.

Time for friends, sleep and work will be minimal but the rewards for doing so – a higher-than-average salary, a prestigious career and the knowledge that you’re working toward the greater good every day – are pretty amazing. This is why AmazeLaw which is more than happy to provide current and prospective law students with the AmazeLaw Law Scholarship.

General Terms of Participation

To participate in this scholarship program you will have to research and create a piece of content between 500 – 1,000 words on the following question –  “What types of legal penalties would you believe would effectively deter drivers from texting while driving?

The individual with the most compelling argument will receive a one-time $2,500 that can be used either in course materials or other resources. If you would like to know more, please continue reading.

You do not have to be studying law currently to participate. 

Eligibility and Creativity

This scholarship is only for students that are currently enrolled in colleges, universities or high schools.

The piece of content you are going to create must be unique and creative. The words of your content must be able to convince anyone that you know what you’re doing and you are correct.

While reading the articles that are submitted, we will take note of several factors including creativity, value of the provided information and a few other criteria that we will not disclose.

How to Submit your Application

First, write an article of 500 – 1,000 words long and submit to us via a word .doc or .pdf file. Additionally, please add the amazelaw.com/scholarship URL to your website (If you have any).

When you are done with these steps, email us at bryan@amazelaw.com with all of the details listed below and attached Word or PDF document.

We run our scholarship program several times a year. Below are the upcoming submission deadlines:

 

The final date for submission is March 31, 2018, and we will choose the winner by April 15, 2018. The check will be mailed out by April 30, 2018.

The final date for submission is September 30, 2018, and we will choose the winner by October 15, 2018. The check will be mailed out by October 31, 2018.

The final date for submission is January 15, 2019, and we will choose the winner by January 31, 2019. The check will be mailed out by February 15, 2019.
